January 2010

Rajvinder Uppal was selected as one of three Canadian producers to attend the prestigious Rotterdam Lab during Cinemart for emerging producers around the world in Jan/Feb 2010.

The producing team traveled to Kitamaat Village, to meet with Eden Robinson, her family and Chief Dolores Pollard and Councilor Gerald Amos, as well as other community members and staff at the Haisla First Nation office.

December 2009

Mama-oo Pictures was selected by Telefilm Canada to attend the Berlin Film Festival - Producers without Borders Telefilm initiative in February 2010.

November 2009

Monkey Beach has been invited by Telefilm and Canadian Heritage’s Trade Routes Program to attend the Native Forum at Sundance Film Festival between January 23rd 2010 and January 29th 2010. Loretta Todd, Rajvinder Uppal, Tom Rowe and Eden Robinson will be attending the forum

'Monkey Beach' has been selected for the Featuring Aboriginal Stories Program (Telefilm/APTN). Loretta Sarah Todd and Rajvinder Uppal will be attending the conference in Toronto from Oct 17-23 2009.

'Monkey Beach' is part of the prestigious IFP No Borders market, New York from Sept 19-23 2009. Rajvinder Uppal and Loretta Sarah Todd along with Executive Producer, Tom Rowe will be attending the market.
